Highlights of the Arnold Sports Festival – March 4 – 5, 2017

Chastity Smith/Jake Mazhar

The Arnold Sports Festival held on March 4 – 5, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio has become one of the most prestigious dance competitions in the United States.  It has all the excitement a great dancesport event should have.  The competition level this year was off the charts; as the level of dancing was of the highest caliber.  The Fordney Foundation was honored to be part of it and we thought you might like to see some of the photos of the event.

There was a special thank you from Sam Solano, Organizer of this entire event.  This is what he said:

“I would like to thank all those who participated: officials, volunteers & more, and to all the Youth & Collegiate dancers! Your energy, spirit, and love of the Sport of Dance is what makes this Dancesport Spectacular worth having every year.  A special thanks to Marilyn Fordney, the Director and Founder of the Fordney Foundation, a non-profit foundation and supporter of Youth Dancesport at this year’s Arnold Youth Dancesport Classic.  We look forward to seeing you next year at the 2018 Arnold Youth Dancesport Classic. March 3-4, 2018! Please plan now to “GoDanceArnold2018!”

That was some great weekend!  Hope you can make it next year.
